Halibut Fish Tacos – 4 servings
- 1 pound Halibut fillets- cut into 1 1/2 inch strips
- lime juice, creole seasoning, canola oil
- Tortillas- corn or flour
- Suggested toppings- shredded cabbage, salsa or pico de gallo, avocado or guacamole, sriracha mayonnaise or Mexican crema, lime wedges, or any other topping you like
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the fillets, liberally coat with creole seasoning and let set for 30 minutes. Cook over cast iron grill pan (or grill over barbeque if desired). Turn only once and remove before the center turns totally opaque. Cover with foil and let set about 10 minutes. Then flake with fork.
